BrandMoth Privacy Policy

Most websites use plugins or legal templates for their privacy policy, filled with legal terminology that nobody understands. In addition, having such a privacy policy does not mean the website necessarily complies with it.
Based on the above, I have decided to write this privacy policy by myself in plain English. Hopefully, this makes it easy to understand and easy for me to respond if you have any questions.
What Information BrandMoth.com Might Collect
I respect your privacy. I want you to understand what information BrandMoth.com might collect while you are on this website and why.
Google Analytics
Like many other websites, this site uses Google Analytics – a free tracking tool offered by Google that helps me understand my visitors better so I can provide more value.
Some of the things that I can track using Google Analytics include the following:
- How many visitors my site get
- What pages or blog posts are the most popular
- How my visitors find this website
- How long visitors stay on the site
Note that Google Analytics does not give me personal information about visitors, such as their names, email addresses, etc.
Blog Comments
Many pages on my site allow you to leave a comment.
When someone leaves a comment, I receive an email notification. After checking it out to ensure it is not spam, I typically approve the comment and delete the email notification.
If you post a comment on my site, I can see your name, email address, and website URL (if you include it). However, other visitors will not be able to see your email address.
Your name and email address will remain on my site for as long as your comment remains. I do not use your contact information for any purpose whatsoever.
I might respond to your comment on my website where everyone else can see your comment and my response. However, I will not email you or try to reach you in any other way.
If you want me to remove your comment from my site, contact me, and I will remove it within 24 hours at the latest.
Contact Form
If you have any questions, ideas, or suggestions, you can contact me through my contact form – brandmoth.com/contact-us.
I only require your first and last name and email address to respond to you. The contact form does not give me any additional information about you.
I do not save or store your contact details anywhere unless you need me to revert to you in the future. For example, you might ask me to let you know when I publish a blog post on a specific topic.
Based on the above, in the vast majority of cases, I will delete your email as soon as I have replied to it. And unless you send me another message through my contact form, you will never hear from me again.
Email List
You can subscribe to my weekly newsletter by submitting your first name and email address. I am using an autoresponder company to compile and store data from my subscribers so I can email you.
You can unsubscribe from my list by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email. If you unsubscribe, you will never receive another email unless you resubscribe or I reply to a message you sent me through my contact form.
If you are on my email list, you can reply to any email you receive. For example, you can ask a question or ask me to remove you from my email list.
If I respond to your mail, I will delete it after responding unless you need me to revert to you in the future. If you ask me to remove you from my email list, I will remove you within 24 hours at the latest.
Furthermore, I hate spam with a passion! I will never sell your contact details to anyone.
